1/3 cup Orange juice
1/4 cup Apple cider
1 Orange-zest
1 tsp Orange blossom water

A slightly more sophisticated version of the classic conserve, using a touch of maple syrup and a hint of orange blossom water for added complexity.

Instructions

  1. Combine all Cranberries, Fruit & Juice, and Sweeteners ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  3. Stir in the Spices and toasted Walnut halves. Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Orange blossom water. Let cool completely. The conserve will thicken further as it cools.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
