Prepared Liver Spread

Yellow Onion-thinly sliced
1 tbsp
Butter
1/4 tsp
Brown Sugar

A more flavorful liver spread sandwich featuring sweet caramelized onions and a touch of Dijon mustard for complexity.
Instructions
- Prepare Caramelized Onions: Melt Butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add Yellow Onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until deeply golden brown and caramelized. Stir in Brown Sugar during the last 5 minutes.
- Spread Dijon Mustard evenly on two slices of Sourdough Bread.
- Spread Liver Spread evenly on the other two slices of Sourdough Bread.
- Layer Arugula and Caramelized Onions on top of the Liver Spread.
- Close the sandwiches with the Dijon Mustard-covered bread slices.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
