Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
  3. Cut in the Cold Unsalted Butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
  5. Pour in the Buttermilk and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat down to about 3/4 inch thickness.
  7. Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits. Place biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
