Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
First, make the brown butter: melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a light-colored saucepan over medium heat. Cook, swirling occasionally, until the butter foams, then browns, and has a nutty aroma (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool completely.
In a large bowl, whisk together all Base ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the Heavy cream, Eggs, and cooled Brown butter until well blended.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the Corn kernels, Parmesan cheese, Smoked paprika, and Cayenne pepper (if using).
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
