Mealovate kitchen tour · about 5 minutes

Your kitchen has six stations.
Walk the line once.

Mealovate is more than a recipe box. This pass shows what to use, when to use it, and where every control lives.

Station 01 Tell us

Taste

Teach Mealovate your boundaries.

Your taste profile is the control panel. “Never” is a hard stop. Likes are gentle signals used only where they belong.

  • Set Never, Avoid, Less, Like, and Love
  • Search and weekly plans respect hard boundaries
  • Change any ingredient preference from recipe, plan, or grocery views

Good to knowStart here if you have allergies, strong dislikes, or a house divided on dinner.

Station 02 Find it

Discover

Search by dish, ingredient, or craving.

Use the header search for a known dish, switch to ingredients when you are working from what you have, or browse a strange pairing on purpose.

  • Exact matches lead; related ideas are labeled
  • Pairing Lab explains why unusual combinations work
  • Every recipe includes Standard, Upgraded, and Elevated

Good to knowElevated is a recipe level, not a paywall. All three versions are free.

Station 03 Make it fit

Shape

Turn a recipe into your recipe.

Adjust servings, swap an ingredient, save it, or send ingredients to Pantry and Shopping without losing your place.

  • Change servings and units
  • Use Taste, Pantry, Shopping, and Swap on ingredients
  • Save recipes to your working shelf and open them in Cook mode

Good to knowPositive tastes never get forced into unrelated food. Garlic love will not rewrite dessert.

Station 04 Set the week

Plan

Plan once. Shop from one list.

The weekly planner uses your taste profile, time, servings, variety, and ingredient overlap—then consolidates the shopping list into practical store units.

  • Regenerate or swap one dinner without rebuilding the week
  • Pantry items come off the shopping list
  • Household members can flag conflicts and share completion

Good to knowShopping handoff stays optional. Mealovate never changes a recipe to satisfy a sponsor.

Station 05 Run service

Cook

Cook without losing the thread.

Cook mode keeps the current step large, supports hands-free movement, and carries a recipe-aware Dinner SOS for the moment something tastes wrong.

  • Step-by-step, screen-awake cooking view
  • Voice navigation and timers where supported
  • Dinner SOS for salty, bland, dry, greasy, split, or over-browning food

Good to knowSOS suggestions start with reversible moves. They preserve your current cook step.

Station 06 Grow it

Bring & share

Bring recipes home. Share the ones worth keeping.

Paste a public cooking-video URL to create an attributed Mealovate recipe, publish your own community recipe, and build a profile around what you actually cook.

  • Capture public recipe videos with the original creator credited
  • Explore transparent Test Kitchen and member recipes
  • Use your profile as a working shelf—not a manufactured popularity score

Good to knowThe free account includes three captures each month. Kitchen+ removes that ceiling.

You can walk through everything now. Sign in only when you want Mealovate to remember your kitchen.
