Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the Dough ingredients. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a pan, melt the Butter. Sauté the Onion until softened. Add the Corn and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in the mashed Sweet Potato, Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper.
  3. Assemble the Dumplings: Roll out the dough and cut into 3-inch circles. Place a spoonful of Filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and crimp the edges to seal.
  4. Cook the Dumplings: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  5. Prepare the Sauce: While the dumplings are cooking, whisk together the Sauce ingredients.
