  1. Cook Rice: Combine Rice ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Season Chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook Chicken: Cook chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C). Set aside.
  4. Cook Shrimp: In the same skillet, cook Shrimp until pink and opaque. Set aside.
  5. Make Sauce: In a large saucepan, melt Butter. Whisk in Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
  6. Continue Sauce: Gradually whisk in Chicken broth until smooth. Add Bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, Brown sugar, Garlic, Onion powder, and Cayenne pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.
  7. Combine: Add Chicken and Shrimp to the Sauce and heat through.
  8. Serve: Serve over Rice.
