
Air Fryer Donuts

Refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
1 tbsp
Vegetable oil
1/2 cup
Granulated sugar
1 tbsp
Ground cinnamon
4 tbsp
Unsalted butter-melted
A quick and effortless way to satisfy a donut craving using refrigerated biscuit dough and a simple cinnamon sugar coating.
Instructions
- Open the can from the Dough ingredients and separate the biscuits.
- Use a small circular cutter or a bottle cap to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit to create the donut shape.
- Lightly brush both sides of the biscuit rings with the vegetable oil from the Dough ingredients.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the dough rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and puffed.
- While the donuts cook, whisk together the sugar and cinnamon from the Coating ingredients in a small bowl.
- Remove the hot donuts from the air fryer, brush them immediately with the melted butter from the Coating ingredients, and toss them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough and the small center 'holes' for donut holes (cook holes for only 3 minutes).
