Instructions
🎙️ Cook with voice coach- Prepare the Onions: Slice the yellow onion into inch thick rings and separate them.
- Make the Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Garlic Powder, Paprika, and Black Pepper.
- Add the Beer: Gradually pour in the cold beer while whisking until a smooth batter forms. The batter should be slightly thick but still pourable.
- Heat the Oil: Pour the vegetable oil into a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat the Onions: Dip each onion ring into the Batter, ensuring it's fully coated.
- Fry the Onion Rings: Carefully lower the coated onion rings into the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 2-3 minutes per batch, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain and Serve: Remove the fried onion rings with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve immediately.
