  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all Batter ingredients until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dip each piece of chicken in the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Carefully place the battered chicken into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  7. While the chicken is frying, prepare the Sauce. In a saucepan, combine all Sauce ingredients. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  8. Once the chicken is fried, toss it in the prepared Sauce until evenly coated.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
