Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all Chicken Kafta ingredients. Mix well with your hands until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat grill to medium heat or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Divide the chicken mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer. If baking, place kafta directly on a baking sheet.
- Grill the kafta skewers for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly browned. If baking, bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve the kafta skewers in pita bread with sliced cucumber, diced tomato, and a dollop of hummus (optional).
