1 pound Elbow Macaroni
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
3 cups Milk
1 tsp Salt

Instructions
  1. Cook Pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat. Whisk in Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, creating a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce has thickened. Stir in Salt and Pepper.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Cheddar Cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked Pasta to the Cheese Sauce and stir to combine. Serve immediately.
