A classic comfort food casserole with spaghetti, a creamy cheese sauce, and a savory ground beef base.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the Ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the Butter. Whisk in the All-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened. Stir in salt, white pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Remove the sauce from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese and 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, browned Ground beef, Cream of mushroom soup, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
