Mock Sausage Patties
A budget-friendly and easy-to-make vegan sausage patty using common pantry ingredients. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches or alongside vegan eggs.

1/2 cup
Nutritional Yeast
1/4 cup
Chickpea Flour
1 tbsp
Smoked Paprika
1 tsp
Garlic Powder

A budget-friendly and easy-to-make vegan sausage patty using common pantry ingredients. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches or alongside vegan eggs.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all Base ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all Flavor ingredients.
- Add the Flavor mixture to the Base mixture and stir to combine.
- In a small bowl, combine all Liquid ingredients.
- Gradually add the Liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until elastic.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat Vegetable Oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until browned and firm.
