  1. Pop the popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine all Molasses Syrup ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes, without stirring, until the mixture reaches the hard-ball stage (250-265°F / 121-129°C).
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the popped popcorn, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  5. Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. While the popcorn is still warm, form into balls.
  6. Let cool completely before serving.
