Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the Warm Water, Sugar, and Active Dry Yeast. Let stand for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add the Bread Flour and Salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a 6-8 inch long rope.
  8. Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. While the breadsticks are baking, melt the Butter in a small bowl. Stir in the Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning, and Salt.
  11. Brush the warm breadsticks with the Butter Topping immediately after removing them from the oven.
