  1. Place Chicken in the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add Vegetables to the slow cooker.
  3. Combine all Sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken and vegetables.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is tender.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the Dumplings: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dumpling dough onto the simmering chicken mixture in the slow cooker.
  8. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked through.
  9. Serve hot.
