1 lb Potatoes-Russet, peeled and cubed
1 lb Turnips-peeled and cubed
1/2 cup Milk
4 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
  1. Place the Root Vegetables in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  2. Drain the Root Vegetables thoroughly.
  3. Return the Root Vegetables to the pot. Add the Dairy & Seasoning and mash until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot.
