
Applebee's Chicken Tequila Lime
A simplified version of the Applebee's classic, perfect for a weeknight meal.

Boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp
Olive oil
1 tsp
Chili powder
1/2 tsp
Cumin
1/4 tsp
Garlic powder

A simplified version of the Applebee's classic, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all Chicken ingredients and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While chicken marinates, prepare the Sauce. In a saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat. Add Garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Lime juice, Tequila, Honey, and Soy sauce to the saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Heat Olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Pour Sauce over the cooked chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Garnish with Cilantro and serve immediately.
