Instructions
🎙️ Cook with voice coach- Prepare the Onions: Slice the Yellow Onion into approximately -inch thick rings and separate them.
- Make the Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Salt, and Black Pepper.
- Gradually whisk in the cold Pale Lager Beer until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Prepare the Dipping Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the Mayonnaise, Ketchup, and Garlic Powder. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat the Oil: Pour the Vegetable Oil into a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer. Heat to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat the Onion Rings: Dip each Onion ring into the Batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Fry the Onion Rings: Carefully lower the battered Onion rings into the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per batch, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a wire rack lined with paper towels to drain.
- Serve immediately with the Dipping Sauce.
