  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream together the Butter and Granulated Sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the Egg and Vanilla Extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the Chocolate Chips.
  7. Pour the dough into a lightly greased 8-inch cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before topping with Vanilla Ice Cream and serving immediately.
