2 pounds Pork shoulder-cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tbsp Lime juice-freshly squeezed
1 tsp Cumin-ground
1 tsp Chili powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder

A comforting and flavorful pork chili verde, perfect for a weeknight meal. This recipe uses readily available ingredients and straightforward techniques.
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine all Marinade ingredients. Add Pork and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Place Tomatillos and Serrano peppers in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tomatillos are softened and have changed color.
  3. Drain the tomatillos and peppers. Transfer to a blender along with Onion, Garlic, Cilantro, and Chicken broth. Blend until smooth.
  4. In a large Dutch oven or heavy pot, brown the marinated Pork over medium-high heat. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Pour the Sauce over the browned Pork. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 60-75 minutes, or until Pork is tender.
  6. Serve hot with rice, beans, and your favorite toppings.
