  1. Heat Olive Oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Add Ground Beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add Onion and Bell Peppers to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in Garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Add Chili Powder, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper (if using), Salt, and Black Pepper to the pot. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
  6. Pour in Crushed Tomatoes, Diced Tomatoes, Kidney Beans, Black Beans, and Beef Broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or up to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
