Dinner has a soundtrack. 12 songs paced to this 60-minute cook—from first chop to clean kitchen.

Start the first song before you prep. Follow the recipe for cooking times, then let the final tracks carry you through cleanup.

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and flour six ramekins.
  2. In a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler), melt the Cake chocolate chips and butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually whisk the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the flour, vanilla extract, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  8. While the cakes are baking, prepare the Whipped Cream. In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  9. Let the cakes cool for a few minutes before inverting them onto plates. Serve immediately with a dollop of Whipped Cream.
