  2. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and form into thin patties, slightly larger than the slider buns.

  4. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.
