Crockpot Chicken And Gravy
A classic comfort food dish made easy in the slow cooker. Tender chicken smothered in a creamy gravy, perfect served over mashed potatoes or rice.

All-Purpose Flour

A classic comfort food dish made easy in the slow cooker. Tender chicken smothered in a creamy gravy, perfect served over mashed potatoes or rice.
Instructions
- Place Chicken in the crockpot.
- Season Chicken with Salt and Black Pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together All-Purpose Flour and 1 cup of Chicken Broth until smooth. This is your slurry.
- Pour remaining Chicken Broth into the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is very tender.
- Remove Chicken from the crockpot and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in the liquid from the crockpot, bringing to a simmer and cooking until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the gravy with Onion Powder and Garlic Powder.
- Return Chicken to the crockpot and coat with gravy. Serve hot.
