Instructions
🎙️ Cook with voice coach- Pat the Chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a large bowl, toss the 'Chicken' with 'All-purpose flour', 'Salt', and 'Black pepper-ground' until evenly coated.
- Prepare the Gochujang Sesame Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together all 'Gochujang Sesame Sauce' ingredients until smooth and well combined.
- First Fry: Heat the 'Vegetable oil-for frying' in a deep pot or Dutch oven to 325°F (163°C). Fry the chicken wings in batches for 6-7 minutes, until cooked through but not yet crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). Remove wings with a slotted spoon and place on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain.
- Second Fry: Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C). Return the partially fried wings to the hot oil in batches and fry for another 3-4 minutes, until deeply golden brown and very crispy. The crust should be audibly crisp when tapped.
- Toss and Serve: Immediately transfer the hot, double-fried wings to a large bowl. Pour the prepared 'Gochujang Sesame Sauce' over the wings and toss thoroughly until each wing is evenly coated. Garnish with 'Sesame seeds-toasted' and serve hot.
