1 lb Beef-sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1/4 cup Soy Sauce

A quick and simple beef and broccoli stir-fry perfect for a weeknight meal. Uses readily available ingredients and a straightforward cooking process.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all Beef with all Marinade ingredients. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together all Sauce ingredients and set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated Beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil to the skillet. Add the Onion and Broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the Sauce over the vegetables and bring to a simmer. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Return the Beef to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat through.
  7. Garnish with Sesame Seeds and serve immediately over rice.
