Instructions
  1. Press the Tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all Marinade ingredients. Add the tofu cubes and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Place the Cornstarch (Coating) in a shallow dish.
  4. Dredge each marinated tofu cube in the cornstarch, ensuring it's fully coated.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated tofu and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the tofu is cooking, prepare the Sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together all Sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
  7. Pour the Sauce over the cooked tofu and toss to coat evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to glaze the tofu.
  8. Garnish with Sesame Seeds and Green Onion before serving.
