  1. Prepare the Waffle Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  2. Cook the Beef Filling: In a skillet, brown the Ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease. Add the Taco seasoning and Water, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the liquid has evaporated.
  3. Make the Nacho Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat. Add the Milk and heat through. Reduce heat to low and gradually add the Cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth. Stir in the Garlic powder.
  4. Cook the Waffles: Preheat your waffle iron. Pour about cup of Waffle Batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions. Immediately after removing from the waffle iron, gently shape the waffle into a taco shell. Repeat with remaining batter.
  5. Assemble the Tacos: Fill each waffle taco with the Beef Filling, then drizzle with the Nacho Cheese Sauce. Top with Shredded lettuce, Diced tomatoes, and Sour cream. Serve immediately.
