  1. Rinse the Prunes under cold water.
  2. Combine Prunes, Water, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Cinnamon, and Cloves in a medium saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until prunes are very tender.
  4. While prunes are simmering, prepare the rice. Rinse the Rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  5. Combine Rice and Water in a separate saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is fluffy.
  6. Serve the stewed prunes warm over a bed of fluffy rice.
