Alabama Tomato Pie
A Southern classic featuring layers of ripe tomatoes, cheese, and a mayonnaise-based sauce, baked to golden perfection.

A Southern classic featuring layers of ripe tomatoes, cheese, and a mayonnaise-based sauce, baked to golden perfection.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the Pie Crust in a 9-inch pie plate and crimp the edges.
- Blind bake the crust for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let cool.
- Arrange Tomato slices in a single layer in the pre-baked pie crust. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper.
- In a medium bowl, combine all Sauce ingredients and mix well.
- Spread half of the Sauce evenly over the Tomato layer.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese and 1/2 cup of Monterey Jack Cheese over the sauce.
- Repeat layers: Tomatoes, remaining Sauce, remaining Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
