  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Do not grease the angel food cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
  3. In a separate, clean and dry bowl, beat Egg Whites with an electric mixer until foamy.
  4. Add Cream of Tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form.
  5. Gradually add Granulated Sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
  6. Gently fold in Vanilla Extract.
  7. Gradually fold Dry Ingredients into the egg white mixture, about at a time, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
  8. Pour batter into ungreased angel food cake pan.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Invert pan immediately after removing from oven and let cool completely before removing cake.
