  1. In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients.
  3. Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the diced Apples.
  5. Heat about 2 inches of Vegetable Oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot.
  7. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  9. Dust generously with Powdered Sugar before serving.
