Apple Jack Fritters
Classic apple fritters with a hint of applejack flavor, perfect for a weekend treat.

All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar
2 tsp
Baking Powder
1/2 tsp
Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp
Ground Nutmeg

Classic apple fritters with a hint of applejack flavor, perfect for a weekend treat.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients.
- Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Gently fold in the diced Apples.
- Heat about 2 inches of Vegetable Oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Dust generously with Powdered Sugar before serving.
