Beer Brat Chili

A hearty and flavorful chili featuring beer-braised brats, beans, and a classic chili spice blend. Perfect for a casual weeknight meal.
Instructions
- Slice Bratwurst into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Heat Olive Oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add Onion and Bell Peppers to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add Bratwurst to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Pour in Crushed Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, and Beer. Stir to combine.
- Add Chili Powder, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper (if using), Salt, and Black Pepper. Stir well.
- Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 30 minutes, or up to an hour, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Kidney Beans and Black Beans during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, and Green Onions.
