  1. Slice Bratwurst into inch pieces.
  2. Heat Olive Oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  3. Add Onion and Bell Peppers to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add Garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add Bratwurst to the pot and brown on all sides.
  6. Pour in Crushed Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, and Beer. Stir to combine.
  7. Add Chili Powder, Cumin, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper (if using), Salt, and Black Pepper. Stir well.
  8. Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 30 minutes, or up to an hour, stirring occasionally.
  9. Stir in Kidney Beans and Black Beans during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, and Green Onions.
