Boston Brown Bread
A traditional, slightly sweet, and dense quick bread, perfect with butter and jam.

All-Purpose Flour
1 cup
Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar
2 tsp
Baking Powder
1 tsp
Baking Soda

A traditional, slightly sweet, and dense quick bread, perfect with butter and jam.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients.
- Pour the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
