
California Avocado Sourdough Melt
A classic, comforting melt featuring creamy avocado, sharp cheddar, and crispy sourdough bread.

Avocado-ripe
1 tbsp
Lemon juice
1/4 tsp
Garlic powder

A classic, comforting melt featuring creamy avocado, sharp cheddar, and crispy sourdough bread.
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mash the Avocado Filling avocado with lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Spread the softened Butter on one side of each slice of Sourdough bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread the mashed avocado mixture evenly over the bread.
- Sprinkle the Cheese over the avocado.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from skillet and serve immediately.
