A simplified version of the iconic Cheesecake Factory brown bread, perfect for a weekend bake. This recipe uses readily available ingredients and straightforward techniques to recreate the sweet, buttery flavor.
A simplified version of the iconic Cheesecake Factory brown bread, perfect for a weekend bake. This recipe uses readily available ingredients and straightforward techniques to recreate the sweet, buttery flavor.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients until combined.
In a separate bowl, combine all Wet Ingredients and whisk until well blended.
Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
In a small bowl, combine all Streusel Topping ingredients. Use a pastry blender or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour and sugar until crumbly.
Sprinkle the Streusel Topping evenly over the batter.
Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
