Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together all Batter ingredients until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip each piece of chicken in the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Carefully place the battered chicken into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
- While the chicken is frying, prepare the Sauce. In a saucepan, combine all Sauce ingredients. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Once the chicken is fried, toss it in the prepared Sauce until evenly coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
