Light and airy meringue cookies with a bright lemon flavor. These are a simple, satisfying treat perfect for any occasion.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean, dry bowl, beat Egg Whites with Cream of Tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add Granulated Sugar, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Gently fold in Vanilla Extract, Lemon Juice, and Lemon Zest.
- Spoon or pipe meringue onto prepared baking sheet in desired shapes.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until dry and crisp. Turn off oven and let cookies cool completely inside with the door slightly ajar.
