New Mexico Chile Relleno Burger
A classic New Mexico flavor combination – a juicy burger topped with a roasted green chile, cheese, and a creamy sauce, served on a bun.
A classic New Mexico flavor combination – a juicy burger topped with a roasted green chile, cheese, and a creamy sauce, served on a bun.
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients and mix gently. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill or pan-fry the burger patties to your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mixing well.
- Place a roasted green chile on top of each burger patty during the last minute of cooking to warm through.
- Top each burger with a slice of Monterey Jack Cheese and allow to melt.
- Spread Sauce on both halves of the hamburger buns.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce and tomato slices.
