🎙️ Cook with voice coach- For the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, granulated sugar, and fine sea salt. Gradually add the warm water and 2 tablespoons of the extra virgin olive oil, mixing until a shaggy dough forms. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 60-90 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- For the Topping: While the dough rises, combine the crushed tomatoes, minced garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil generously into a 13x9-inch metal baking pan. Press the risen dough evenly into the prepared pan, stretching it to the edges. Allow the dough to rest in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Spread the tomato topping over the dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle evenly with the shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. The bottom of the crust should be crisp and golden when lifted.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with torn fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve immediately.
