Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza
A recreation of the classic Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza, made accessible for home cooking with readily available ingredients.

A recreation of the classic Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza, made accessible for home cooking with readily available ingredients.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all Dough ingredients. Knead for 5-7 minutes until a smooth dough forms.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- While the dough rises, prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 12-inch round cake pan or cast iron skillet generously with vegetable oil.
- Punch down the risen dough and press it into the prepared pan, working it up the sides to create a raised edge.
- Spread the Sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella Cheese, then top with Italian Sausage and Mushrooms.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
