Instructions
  1. Shuck the corn and cut the kernels from the cobs. Add the kernels to a large pot.
  2. Add the frozen corn to the pot.
  3. Add the butter, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and sugar to the pot.
  4. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the corn is tender and the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm.
