1 pound Penne Pasta
1 pound Italian Sausage-hot, removed from casing
1 (28 ounce) can Crushed Tomatoes
2 cloves Garlic-minced
1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

A quick and easy weeknight pasta dish with Italian sausage and a spicy tomato sauce.
Instructions
  1. Cook Pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. While pasta is cooking, brown Sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add Garlic and Red Pepper Flakes to the skillet with the Sausage and cook for 1 minute more, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in Crushed Tomatoes, Dried Oregano, Salt, and Black Pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the cooked Pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan Cheese and Fresh Parsley.
