
Tomato Juice Bread
A simple, slightly sweet bread made with tomato juice, perfect for toast or sandwiches.

All-Purpose Flour
1/4 cup
Granulated Sugar
2 1/4 tsp
Instant Yeast
1 tsp
Salt

A simple, slightly sweet bread made with tomato juice, perfect for toast or sandwiches.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
- Add the Tomato Juice and Vegetable Oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
