Rinse the Wild Rice and White Rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a large saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat. Add the Onion and Celery and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the Wild Rice, White Rice, Thyme, Salt, and Pepper to the saucepan. Stir to coat with the butter and vegetables.
Pour in the Chicken Broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40-45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
While the rice is cooking, toast the Pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.
Stir in the Maple Syrup and toasted Pecans into the cooked rice. Fluff with a fork and serve immediately.
