1.5 lbs Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 Onion, chopped
8 oz Cremini mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp All-purpose flour

A comforting and flavorful beef stroganoff made with readily available ingredients. This version focuses on simplicity and ease of preparation, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Instructions
  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat Olive oil over medium-high heat. Add Beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add Onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add Cremini mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle All-purpose flour over the mushrooms and onion, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually whisk in Beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.
  6. Stir in Sour cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with Salt and Black pepper to taste.
  7. Return Beef to the skillet and heat through. Do not boil.
  8. Serve over Egg noodles, garnished with Fresh parsley.
