  1. Combine all Pork ingredients in a bowl and rub evenly over the pork shoulder.
  2. Wrap the pork shoulder tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the pork shoulder in a Dutch oven or roasting pan with 1 cup of water.
  4. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is very tender and easily shredded.
  5. While the pork is cooking, prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Shred the pork using two forks.
  8. Pour the Sauce over the shredded pork and mix well. Serve on buns with your favorite sides.
